1.1 Remove the kit from the storage environment; freezing is prohibited.
1.2 Open the carton packaging and remove a set of test cards, sample preservation solution, droppers and swabs.
1.3 Return the remaining unused test kits to storage.
1.4 If removed from the refrigerator, allow to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes; otherwise skip this step.
2. Specimen collection:
2.1 Lift open the swab bag and remove the swab (nasal swab).
2.2 Insert the swab (nasal swab) into the nasal cavity 1.5 cm deep.
2.3 Swab the mucosa of the nostril 5 times to ensure that both mucus and cells are collected.
2.4 Repeat steps 2.2-2.3 in the other nostril using this swab.
3. Sample extraction
3.1 Puncture the aluminum foil of the sample
preservation tube with the dropper, and then set the dropper aside.
3.2 Immerse the swabbed sample preserving tube in the liquid after sampling. Stir 10-20 times close to the inner wall of the tube and gently shake the tube up and
down 2-3 times to dissolve the sample in the sample preservation fluid.
3.3 Squeeze the swab against the wall of the tube, keeping it close to the wall of the tube to remove the swab so that the liquid remains in the tube as much as
3.4 Insert the dropper into the sample preservation tube again.
4.1 Tear the aluminum foil bag, take out the test card and lay it flat.
4.2 Aspirate the sample reservoir containing the sample with a dropper and add 3-4 drops to the sample addition well of the test card.
4.3 Set the alarm clock and observe the results within 15-20 minutes, the results displayed after 30 minutes are invalid.
5. Result interpretation
The test results are of the following three kinds.
Two red lines appear. One red line appears in the control region(C), and one red line in the test region(T). The shade of color may vary,but it should be considered positive whenever there is even a faint line.
Only one red line appears in the control region(C), and no line in the test region(T). The negative result indicates that there are no Novel coroinavirus particles in the sample or the number of viral particles is below the detectable range.
No red line appears in the control region(C). The test is invalid even if there is a line on test region(T).
